Tharina Langa-Platinum Health Group Pharmacy Manager
Comments: The level of automation and intelligence is mind blowing. This is the future!
Olivier Resano-Mekapharm Commercial Director
Comments:
As soon as Lester Chadwick and Andre Van Biljon came and met us in France 2 years ago, MEKAPHARM was convinced Erx would be a great partner. Their motivation,
technical and sales skills fitted exactly with our expectations. These feelings were confirmed by the first APOTEKA system they sold in South Africa.
We
particularly appreciate their involvement - they do and think more than other partners of ours! They also are able to design customized software to adapt our
solutions to customer's needs. We trust our collaboration will be very positive on a long term basis.
Ansie van Der Merwe-Pharmacy Direct, Kwartsiet General Manager
Comments:
Pharmacy Direct found a partner in e-Rx to travel down the path to robotic dispensing. E-Rx's analytical skill, understanding
of technical requirements and integrated systems development capabilities largely contributed to the success of the project.
Pharmacy Direct depended on the e-Rx team's unwavering commitment, support, and expertise and achieved outcomes of cost savings,
improved turnaround times and improved customer satisfaction. Thank you, e-Rx!

Our History
Long, long ago...
Move your cursor over our timeline to find out more
eRx Solutions was established in 2012, following a positive market response to our innovative, disruptive and sincere solutions. Our "outside the box" thinking would impact our people for years to come.
To concept-test our pioneering innovations, we exposed market leaders and influential corporates to our ideas and test systems, presenting a wooden Medicine ATM machine and other models over a 2–year period to come.
Challenges encountered during our personal involvement in the pharmacy sector, in 2010 and earlier, became a playfield for our engineering and solution architecture mindsets. Designing and testing our thinking against objective industry experts confirmed the dire need for technical solutions to a "Pharmacy of Tomorrow".
Looking back....
We are honoured and humbled by the major opportunities we have had in the past decade,
designing and developing a variety of solutions and systems; some, with the input and support of influential partners
and stakeholders. A number of our solutions were ahead of its time in having immediate commercial traction and
regulatory support, whilst others directly impacted updates. We are proud of this heritage.
We were fortunate to be involved with:
2011 — The first private hospital pharmacy automation in South Africa
2012 — The first public sector pharmacy automation in South Africa
2014 — The first medicine ATM for South Africa
Our Vision
Looking FORWARD to the "Pharmacy of Tomorrow"
Our vision for Pharmacy of Tomorrow has not changed. If impacted in any way, the past decade confirmed and strengthened our vision.
To INNOVATIVE, DESIGN and DEVELOP solutions that STRENGTHEN
the hands of the pharmacist and improve WORKING CONDITIONS, that IMPROVE DISPENSING QUALITY AND
PHARMA SERVICE DELIVERY to the customer, which makes ECONOMICAL SENSE to the enterprise and
business owner, and which underpin the medicine logistics and pharmacy process with sound data of a much wider application than medical insurance only.
Our Vision for Pharmacy of Tomorrow is larger than what eRx Solutions is capable of. Working with like-minded partners
is our strategy and leaving behind a trail of solution nuggets that are able to plug into a bigger picture, is our
objective - We do not need to end up owning all innovations we created or contributed to. Rather, we find pleasure in
the journey of impacting key role-players, all contributing to a Pharmacy of Tomorrow, where our country wins.
Our Current Focus
In building "Pharmacy of Tomorrow" - we are focussing on today
Our current focus is the design, development and implementation of bespoke pharmacy automation
(robotics and software) solutions for Retail-, Hospital-, and Warehouse Pharmacies.
We are the proud channel partners, in SADC, of the high-performance GPI RIEDL Phasys pharmacy cabinet robot as well as
the economical A-frame channel Apoteka robot by Mekapharm.
Our Method
In building "Pharmacy of Tomorrow" - how we engage
